We use the latest materials and information from the American Red Cross, which was released in 2011. Designed for 11 to 15 year olds, the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course can help you:
Interview for a babysitting job
Choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games
Perform first aid
Recognize and care for choking emergencies for infants and children
Recognize when to call 911
Learn about life threatening emergencies and how to get help
Learn diapering and feeding techniques
Handle bedtime issues
Learn tips for having a safe babysitting experience
How to care for choking and breathing emergencies
CPR demonstration and practice are included in class, but formal certification in CPR is not.

If you are interested in hosting a Babysitter's Training class at your location, please contact our Director of Safety and Training. Minimum students 8, cost is $80.00 per person. We would be happy to make arrangements.
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS: Each student needs to bring to class a lunch, drinks and a pen or pencil.
