American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) class allows you to teach various courses such as:
Candidates will be asked to complete at least four practice teaching assignments, using Instructor materials.
Come to class prepared each day and actively participate in all sessions.
Pass a written exam on the last day of class with 80% or higher.
Successfully complete the following the first day:
Swim at least one length of each stroke:

Students may not miss any days or partial days.
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS: Each student needs to bring proof of age, bathing suit, towels, change of clothes, pen and paper.
FEES: IF YOU HAVE INTERVIEWED AND BEEN HIRED TO WORK FOR GHPM DURING THE 2013 SEASON YOU MAY PAY THE REDUCED EMPLOYEE FEE. PAYING THE EMPLOYEE FEE DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT WITH GHPM. PLEASE REFER ALL EMPLOYMENT QUESTIONS AND SUBMIT APPLICATIONS BY CLICKING ON THE "EMPLOYMENT" SECTION. ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS MUST PAY THE NON-EMPLOYEE FEE.

Credit card payment will ensure your spot in the class, but if you want to pay by check, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To pay by check- Do not continue the registration process through the website. Use the email above to request the registration form. We will email a registration form designed for check payments. You can always stop by the Cypress office to register and pay.

All non employees must pay the non employee fee-$75.00 more than the employee rate. This will be automatically calculated during your check out process. Non-Employees are required to pay by credit card.
